Our goal is to provide world-class golf instruction at an affordable price. At the Academy at Mill Run, you will find an expansive practice facility with target greens, a short game area, and a private teaching tee. All of our instructors are highly trained members of the PGA of Canada.
Each instructor has gone through intensive training so that they are able to provide consistent and high-quality instruction for all levels of players. Our students will leave with a plan that will allow them to attain their immediate goals and be on their way to becoming a better player.

Meet our PGA of Canada Professionals
Ben Reid, PGA of Canada, Class “A” Member – Head Golf Professional
Ben turned professional in 2015, after a successful collegiate golfing career as a member of the Durham Lords. Growing up through the ranks of the Durham Junior Golf Tour, Ben has the playing and coaching experience to help all golfers develop into the players they dream to be. Ben is the leader of Mill Run’s Junior Development Program and has worked with one of the best junior coaches in Canada to help master his skill set.

Marc Seiler, PGA of Canada, Class “A” Member – Associate Golf Professional
Marc turned professional in 2013 after working in the golf industry for over 8 years in multiple capacities. Marc’s many experiences have allowed him to hone his teaching abilities from beginner to intermediate golfers as well as running a very successful junior program that saw over 300 juniors in 2 years. His passion and knowledge of the game of golf is a driving force in how he teaches with a simplistic approach for beginners golfers and his knowledgeable approach for the more experienced player, this has allowed him to be very approachable for golfers of all skill levels.

Jordan Mahussier, PGA of Canada – Assistant Golf Professional
After many years of membership at Mill Run, Jordan turned his passion for the game into a career, by obtaining his professional status in 2017. As a member of the PGA of Canada, Jordan has completed his Instructor Beginner Certification and is continually undergoing extensive training to help pass on his passion for golf to other golfers.

Robbie Zicari, TPI Certified – Fitness Professional
Robbie’s two passions in life are fitness and golf. In 2018, Robbie decided to turn these passions into a career. Along with graduating from Bryan College’s Health and Fitness program with honors in 2019, Robbie is also a certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). It doesn’t stop there; Robbie is also Level 2 Fitness certified with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and continues to educate himself with a variety of fitness and nutrition courses and certifications. Robbie was introduced to the game of golf from a young age and played on his high school golf team. Robbie’s passion for fitness really took off while competing in the sport of bodybuilding which included winning 1st place for his weight class for Ontario in 2015. Robbie enjoys being able to help clients work towards their individual fitness goals. Providing clients with proper form and techniques for all exercises will assist in building a stronger and more confident you on and off the course.

Matt Savage, PGA of Canada, Class “A” Member – General Manager
Matt turned professional in 2009, with a third-place finish in the PGA of Ontario Playing Ability Test. An Executive Professional of the PGA of Canada, Matt has 20+ years of experience in the golf industry and has coached golfers of all skill levels. Matt is a Level 2 Certified Golf Instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute, with a minor in Golf Fitness. He uses the skills and knowledge from TPI to assess each golfer based on their body type and physical limitations/abilities to help create a plan for them to play better golf.
