"Thank you for helping to make our wedding ceremony and reception held on Aug. 13, 2011 absolutely perfect! Everything ran smoothly from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, cocktails and reception. Every detail was taken care of that day which made it a perfect and stress free experience!
The ceremony site, in my opinion, was the most beautiful ceremony site I have ever seen. The gardens, gazebo, and pond are most beautiful and are also great for having professional pictures done. The food was absolutely amazing for both the cocktail reception as well as the dinner. We had many guests come to us and tell us how much they enjoyed it and how friendly and accommodating they thought the staff were!
The ballroom looked absolutely amazing and we couldn’t believe our eyes the first time we saw it! The new renovations were beautiful and everything was set up exactly how we had planned. It was so nice not to have to worry about set up or tear down the day of the wedding as you guys took care of everything!
To anyone who is considering Mill Run for their ceremony and/or reception, your hunt is over! My husband and I had the greatest experience in all aspects of what Mill Run has to offer and definitely recommend this venue. Amy is a great wedding co-ordinator and will be there to answer any of your questions as well as to guide you through this process. Good luck and enjoy the helpful staff, beautiful gardens and ceremony site, food, and reception/atmosphere that Mill Run has to offer!"

“When Neal and I first started talking about getting married, the first thing out of my mouth was “Destination!” because I wanted simple and easy. But since I’d had the fairytale wedding before (without the happily ever after!), and he had not been married previously, he wanted the big party that we knew would be impossible for some friends and family who just couldn’t swing the trip to the beach. So, in the first of many marital compromises (lol), we decided to have a grand, tropical-themed reception upon our return from our intimate destination wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and we couldn’t have picked a better place than Mill Run Golf Club!
Amy, you and your banquet staff were so incredibly accommodating and helpful! No matter how many times I called to change something or add something, you were always so understanding and eager to make our celebration the simple and easy experience I was looking for. The food was wonderful and the care you put into making the Caribbean-themed food to add to our ambiance did not go unnoticed!
Overall, our night at Mill Run was one we will never forget and it was made so very special by you and your staff. It was clear to us that you all took great pride in making sure our evening was a memorable occasion that was both fun and elegant, which is a difficult task with two five-foot tall palm trees to set the mood!
We just wanted to convey our gratitude to you all and let you know that we would recommend Mill Run to anyone planning a wedding, whether it is a full traditional wedding (which I know you have vast experience in as well) or a more relaxed destination wedding reception like we had. Every one of our guests enjoyed themselves and were able to feel as though they were part of the celebration even if they weren’t able to join us on the beach in Jamaica; and that was all we could have asked for. "As a 'first' time convener, I found your guidance and calm manner very helpful. Your availability in answering questions and giving me a general overview last fall, calmed my initial fears quickly. Providing the registration spreadsheet in good time was great and came in very handy.
Our tournament day at the Highland Course went like a 'well oiled' machine. Cameron and staff greeted us, were helpful loading golf bags, efficient, clear with instructions and displayed a positive attitude. I also appreciated the staff figuring out the contest winners (closest to the pin, longest drive etc.) after the games.
...My friends and volunteers enjoyed the chicken or hamburger, coleslaw & potato salad. I know I enjoyed it very much ... I was hungry too. The dessert and coffee/tea were very good ... My compliments to the kitchen staff. The folks serving were friendly and helpful too. All around a GREAT day.

"The Early Birds Golf League has been together for more than 30 years. We play at several different golf courses each summer, but since we came across Mill Run, we have always included it in our rotation. The golf course provides just the right level of challenge for all the golfers in our group, from high handicaps to low, and everyone looks forward to playing there. Being able to hit a few balls on the range before the round is an added bonus.
